Philips's claim that its new SHB9000 headset offers the best-ever music and conversation quality from a Bluetooth headset might be a bit optimistic, but it's their PR, so we'll let 'em say what they want. The over-the-ear headphones offer native MP3 decoding for loss-less streaming, 40mm neodymium speakers and can automatically switch between calls and music. There's a digital signal processor to filter out background noise and echo when on the phone, and you can connect to your phone wirelessly or via a provided cord.

CellPoint Connect AB, developer of high-end Bluetooth headsets today announced the launch of the Flamingo Wired Headset line featuring the Flamingo Music and the Flamingo Mobile versions at the 2008 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Wired Headsets have been recognized by the CES Innovation Awards and feature the comfortable and secure fit of the EarClick wearing technology. The headsets will be available in a variety of colors.
It is a nice kit, though we question if this really is every woman's must-have handbag accessory. The Sony Ericsson HBH-PV712's pack-ins include two interchangeable style-up covers, a unique lanyard as necklace, handsome travel bag, and a charger. The set itself features 15 hour talk time, 500 hours of standby time, weighs 14 grams, and DSP with fast automatic volume adjustment. Here's hoping they release a Man's man version with an NHL Hockey motif, packed in a semi-ruined mini gym bag -- including all the required dirt and stains -- and scented with the finest meat and potatoes.
A camera company has unveiled a portable printer for mobile phone images. Once famous for cameras that developed their own prints, Polaroid plans to market the printer in America later this year. The printers, which will also connect to digital cameras, require no ink, they use a thermal printing technology and special paper. The printers are slightly bigger than a deck of cards.Once connected to a phone or camera by Bluetooth wireless or the USB port, the printers need less than a minute to churn out 2-inch-by-3-inch prints pictures, which can be peeled off a backing and used as stickers. Sheets of paper for the device will cost about 40 cents (20p) each, less if bought in bulk.

Catcher Holdings, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: CTHH) completed its acquisition of Vivato Networks, Inc. Catcher acquired 100% of the common stock of Vivato for 2,500,000 shares of Catcher's common stock.
